Reception with Coach Kyle (English Distinguished Alumni Award)

Event Description:

Please join us for a celebration of Chuck M. Kyle '73, '79G as he will be presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award by the John Carroll University English Department on Monday, November 10 from 6-8 PM. While Coach Kyle has been retired since 2023, John Carroll would like to extend his retirement party with this honor. The celebration will begin at 6 PM with a reception in the Atrium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology. Then starting at 6:45 PM, there will be an awards presentation, remarks, and a conversation between Chuck & his daughter, Maureen Kyle, from FOX 8 CLE, that will take place in the Donahue Auditorium. Chuck has made an indelible impact at St. Ignatius High School, both as a legendary coach and as a transformational English instructor in the classroom. We hope you are able to attend, as he receives this special honor from JCU.
